Cross-process production planner
A tool for planning manufacturing phases that adapts to different industrial processes. I designed and built it with AI.
How it flows
01Challenge
Every manufacturing process is organised differently, and planning tools are usually built around just one. The goal was something that could handle several without being rebuilt each time.
02What I did
- Mapped how manufacturing phases link together and what information each one needs.
- Came up with a configurable phase model, so the tool adapts to each process without a rewrite.
- Built it with AI assistance, iterating on prototypes that worked from day one.
- Put real care into the interface so the planners could use it, not just the person who designed it.
